Mazzer started off as a precision machine company under a different name, until 1948 when there was the shift over to espresso grinders. Fronted by Luigi Mazzer, he would come to innovate espresso grinders for years to come. Heading the company until 1988, Giovanni Mazzer, his son, would take the reins and make Mazzer a commercial name.

With its familiar silhouette, the Robur S ends its similarities there. Large 71mm conical burrs and low grinding RPM are just some of the ways aromatics and taste are preserved. Cooling fans further protect the interior from overheating. Retention is also minimized through the use of conical burrs for the freshest shots possible. Iot is also a modernized feature using cloud connectivity to help track and keep consistency with the grinder for each shot.
