Every barista knows that the grinder and the bean make the espresso. Seeking out the best tools for their trade, they also keep in mind the noise factor, so that it’s coffee that wakes them up instead of loud grinding sounds.

A grinder to last a lifetime, they seek out one built to withstand their constant use. Introducing the ECM Automatik-64.

With commercial grade burrs and a sleek body, it’s sure to impress even the most refined palate while seamlessly fitting into every coffee station. Let the espresso speak for itself and make an impact on your morning routine.

Overview

The Automatik takes classic espresso design, and mixes it with German engineering to create a grinder that is going to beautifully grind espresso like you would find in an Italian cafe at home. Stepless adjustor, and a timer that grinds to the tenth of a second makes using this grinder a breeze for truly customizable shots.

Wolfgang Hauck starts the story of ECM 25 years ago with designing the ECM Technika, which to this day is still one of their most loved machines. Now for over 10 years it’s into the family’s second generation of beautifully designed machines with German engineering backing them up. The S-Automatik is no exception to this fine craftsmanship with every detail being taken into account. Truly, these machines are crafted for the espresso enthusiast with the utmost care and quality.

Engineered to bring out the best in every espresso shot, the S-Automatik creates a beautiful clump-free grinding experience that’s fast and consistent. With two preset timed doses, keeping shots the same for a repeatable experience is easily attained. Incorporated details such as cooling vents for temperature control shows that nothing has been overlooked with the construction and design of this grinder.

Easy to use, the Automatik uses 3 modes customizable for the user’s ideal experience; standard mode for the consistent everyday drink that never changes; the manual mode for the experimentalist who will change their shot amount; and barista mode for someone who wants to quickly swap between these modes for ever changing drinks.
