The Bottomless (Naked) Portafilter is a must-have tool if you want to watch the perfection of coffee extraction at its best. A bottomless portafilter clearly exhibits how the extraction is progressing so that you can make required changes on time to achieve the perfect extraction.
This equipment is marvelous for training since you can easily notice if channeling (a sign of uneven tamping or grind levels) occurs. It is excellent for pulling a perfect shot of espresso every time. This chrome-plated 58mm portafilter can be used with a single, double, or triple shot basket.
Now with Modular Compatibility:
This portafilter is now modular, allowing you to easily add silicone spout attachments (sold separately) to convert it to a spouted portafilter as needed.
