It features a rotating bed of 22 stainless steel needles housed in a stationary ring that sits securely on top of any 58mm portafilter. A light spin with your fingers is all it takes to break up clumps caused by static and fines, leaving a uniform coffee bed ready for a flat tamp.
The needle depth is adjustable via a screw threaded into the handle, so you can dial in exactly how deep the needles reach into the basket — perfect for matching single, double, and triple basket depths without bottoming out.
