Overview

Dung K'No Commune, located in the Lam Dong province of Vietnam, is known for its specialty coffee production. The farmers here cultivate coffee alongside other crops like persimmon, jackfruit, macadamia, and avocado. The coffee undergoes a washed process at the Duc Trong Mill, where it is fermented anaerobically, enhancing the intensity of fruit and acidity in the cup. The coffee is then dried on raised beds or patios for 5-7 days. The Catimor variety grown at elevations between 1100-1400 MASL results in a cup profile with intense jammy strawberry, cooked melon, mild toffee, and malt flavors, complemented by sugary sweetness and winey acidity.

My impression of Vietnamese coffee

My impression of Vietnamese coffee is very oily but that’s not the case. It’s fresher and strong aroma, well balanced. Not too acidity but sweetness.
