The special Red Speed TiAICN (Titanium Aluminium Carbon Nitride) coating gives the burrs more resistance to wear and lower friction enabling you to grind more coffee beans, enhance durability, speed and grind consistency without compromise.

SSP burrs can withstand coffee and espresso brewing as well as bulk grinding and have an average lifetime of 4000 to 5000 kg which is about 6-8 times longer than standard non-coated steel burrs which are usually rated at about 600kg.

SSP has two different burr geometries.

Multi-Purpose (MP) - These are good all around burrs for normal use. They are good for espresso and for brewing.

Espresso (ESP) - The ESP burr set is recommended for light roasts that require high uniformity for proper extraction.
