This innovative machine features an internal 2.5L water reservoir, a first for any Slayer product, allowing for use without direct plumbing and enhancing its suitability for domestic settings. Users can simply place the machine on a countertop, plug it in, and start brewing.

At the heart of the Steam Single is a dedicated pre-infusion circuit with a fixed, slower flow rate, offering programmable pre-infusion up to 10 seconds. This allows baristas to gently saturate the coffee bed for more balanced, consistent extractions. The machine employs a dual boiler system, with a PID-controlled brew boiler (0.8L) separate from the steam boiler (2.4L), enabling simultaneous brewing and steaming.

The Steam Single incorporates an intuitive barista dashboard with a touchscreen interface, providing easy access to temperature adjustments, cleaning cycles, and energy-saving modes. It also features manual dial-in capabilities, allowing users to save volumetric profiles for repeatability.
