Coffea Liberica is a third species of coffee — not a varietal like Geisha or Bourbon, but an entirely separate species originating in West Africa.
It is the largest coffee tree in the world, reaching heights of 25 metres with leaves up to 10 times the size of Arabica. Harvesting requires ladders to reach the cherries high in the canopy.
We sourced a small allotment of this extraordinary coffee and packaged it in 150g bags so as many of our customers as possible can experience it. Once our 220 bags are gone, that's it.
