The Rocket Giotto Evoluzione R is named for one of the great Italian painters of the 14th century, Giotto di Bondone. Giotto is widely considered to be the father of the Renaissance, and, not unlike the Renaissance, Rocket’s homage to this great artist is in some ways a revival of the classics. Rotary dials, a digital interface that’s tucked out of sight underneath the drip tray, and a shot timer that only displays when the pump is running all contribute to this machine’s blend of timeless design and modern performance.

Don’t like the convex panels of this machine? Looking for something a little more sleek? Consider the Giotto’s counterpart, the Mozzafiato, instead.

The Giotto blends traditional Italian design with modern performance. It lets you craft drinks faster by allowing for simultaneous steam and espresso extraction, making this the perfect machine to host your friends and family. It also takes advantage of some commercial technology, helping to take your home espresso game to the next level.

Note: There are two versions of this machine. The Evo R can be plumbed in or operated with its pour-over reservoir. The Type V is pour-over only.

The Evo R combines an E61 grouphead, heat exchange boiler, and commercial, rotary pump, providing you with the tools to create world class lattes, cappuccinos, and other delicious milk based drinks.

The E61 grouphead is the gold standard for delivering espresso, and this machine’s rotary pump can be plumbed in directly, so you no longer need to worry about topping up the pour-over reservoir in the back of the machine. A heat exchange boiler means you can simultaneously steam milk and brew coffee, making back to back lattes and cappuccinos a breeze.

The E61 Grouphead is a commercial standard that provides perfect temperature stability paired with almost indefinite service life.
The Evo R version of this machine uses a commercial water pump, giving you the option to run it plumbed in or via the pour over reservoir located at the back of the machine.
The Giotto uses a digital PID for perfect temperature stability in the steam boiler.
The PID controller is tucked away under the drip tray to help preserve the classic look of this machine, while the convenient shot timer only displays a clock during the extraction process, perfectly blending modernity with Rocket’s traditional, ‘fato a mano’ style of machine.
