The PID heats the boilers to a precise temperature with minimal margins while doubling as a shot timer when extracting espresso. Preinfusion has been a focus for this machine, reducing the chance of channelling. Steaming milk at the same time as pulling an espresso shot is what this boiler type is designed to do.
