Specialty coffee is a relatively new industry in the DRC which has long been known for commodity coffee. Despite being relatively close geographically to Rwanda and Burundi, the nearby Lake Kivu and its surrounding landscape has an incredible diversity of microclimate and profile. As a result, Congolese coffees are distinct and this one is a particular treat.
